Pond Management Myth Busting 102: Aquatic Vegetation Management Webinar

August 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm CDT

$35

Presented by Brittany Chesser

Aquatic Vegetation Management Program Specialist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service

Lead Diagnostic Scientist, TAMU Aquatic Diagnostics Laboratory

Description:

This 1-hour how-to educational webinar will unravel common pond myths and mis-management practices related to aquatic vegetation management. The pond myths webinar from last year was our most popular webinar to date, and yet 2 hours (and a third hour for questions) was not sufficient to cover the numerous pond myths that exist (we covered 42 myths). We are back again this year to go deeper and dispel yet more myths, this time specifically related to aquatic vegetation management. Often it is more difficult to “re-educate” pond owners to dispel long held myths and mis-management practices than it is to educate a new pond owner with no pre-existing “knowledge”. Aquatic vegetation management myths will be addressed along with the science and reasoning behind the correct management strategies that should be employed when issues are encountered. A 30-minute live Q&A session will follow, allowing you to ask questions and address your specific challenges.

This webinar will offer 1 General CEU for pesticide applicators in Texas who attend the session live.
